The 17th Fortune 500 Turkey Research, which ranks Turkey's largest companies by net sales, was announced by Fortune Turkey and CRIF Turkey. HT Solar, listed since 2020, climbed 84 steps compared to the previous year and reached the position of Turkey's largest 122nd company according to the 2023 data. HT Solar, as in the 'Turkey's 500 Largest Industrial Enterprises 2023 Research' prepared by the Istanbul Chamber of Industry (ISO), also succeeded in being the largest solar panel manufacturer in the Fortune 500 Turkey list.
HT Solar Increased Exports by 230%
HT Solar, which has been offering its 8 GW solar panel produced since 2016 for use in many different geographies worldwide, rose to the position of the 32nd largest exporting company with approximately $400 million in foreign sales listed in the Fortune 500 Turkey with an increase of 230% in exports in 2023 compared to 2022. HT Solar Energy Sales and Marketing Director Emre Kulaç expressed their pride in being the largest solar panel manufacturer in the Fortune 500 Turkey list after the ISO 500, saying, "As our achievements in the ISO 500 and Fortune 500 Turkey lists show, we continue to maintain our leading position in the sector with our annual 2 GW production capacity. I thank all my colleagues, business partners, and partner companies who have contributed to our success." Kulaç continued, "As HT Solar, we not only introduce our country to environmentally friendly energy but also provide significant economic value to our country through our exports. While the number of solar panels we produce for Turkey exceeds 5 million, our 2 GW installed power meets the electricity needs of 600 thousand households and approximately 2.5 million people. Today, we meet approximately 15% of our country's solar energy alone, and in the coming period, we will continue to grow with our new investments, taking these figures much higher. As one of the world's leading testing organizations, Kiwa, which conducts long-term reliability and performance tests on solar PV modules, we managed to successfully pass all seven tests with the quality of the solar panels we produce in Turkey, making us the only company in Turkey and one of nine companies worldwide. Thanks to our R&D investments exceeding $10 million annually, we will continue to contribute to a sustainable future with our high-tech and efficient solar panels."
