HT Solar Maintains Leadership Among Solar Panel Manufacturers in ISO 500

The results of the 'Turkey's Top 500 Industrial Enterprises Research 2023' prepared by Istanbul Chamber of Industry (ISO) determining the largest companies in Turkish industry have been announced.

HT Solar, which achieved success by reaching over 2 GW of installed capacity nationwide and standing out with its exports to all four corners of the world, especially the USA, continued its leading position among solar panel manufacturers in the ISO 500 list where it has been since 2018. HT Solar, 200th in the 2022 ISO 500 list in the overall ranking and 106th in the export ranking; in the 2023 list, it rose 30 steps in the overall ranking to 170th and 71 steps in the export ranking to 35th.

Emre Kulaç, Director of Sales and Marketing at HT Solar Energy, expressed his pride in maintaining their leadership in ISO 500 in 2023 and said the following:

"With a $35 million investment, we started our operations in our 32,000 m2 factory in Tuzla in 2016, and today we continue our activities with our annual 2 GW production capacity, maintaining our leading position in the industry. At this point today, we meet approximately 15% of Turkey's solar energy from the sun alone with our 2 GW installed capacity nationwide. While the number of solar panels we produce in Turkey exceeds 5 million, our 2 GW installed capacity meets the electricity needs of 600,000 households and approximately 2.5 million people. The solar panels we produce in Turkey help build a clean future by maximizing solar energy yield in many geographies from Europe to the USA, from the Middle East to North Africa. By exporting panels at a rate of 1 GW per year to the USA, one of the largest markets in renewable energy, we bring approximately $400 million economic value to Turkey. As a company that has reached an installed capacity of 8 GW worldwide, we are also a flag bearer in exports.

In the upcoming period, Emre Kulaç, who underlined that they will grow even more with new investments in Turkey and the USA, said, "We will take the ranking we achieved in prestigious lists such as ISO 500 much higher in the near future. With our 500 employees and advanced production lines, we will continue to focus on R&D activities to develop new products. We aim to contribute to a sustainable future by spreading our high-tech and high-efficiency solar panels and cells to Turkey and worldwide."
